TODO projecto actual se desarrolla en el
TALLER SHAWE de la sede donde se este desarrollando el proyecto.SI eres un artista que quisiera colaborar con el projecto TELAR y/o TALLER SHAWE , recibimos voluntarios bajo intercambio y cooperación de fondos para el mantenimiento y en apoyo a la famila que nos permite utilizar el espacio.
Para obtener más información de como llegar al TALLER SHAWE ponte en contacto con nosotros a través de correo electrónico. Las rutas de transporte están en un estado de cambio con la construcción de carreteras en las montañas. Un itinerario al dia se te mandará al ser aprobado para tu residencia.

Esta residencia ofrece la oportunidad de vivir en comunidad buscando un camino y estilo de vida en armonia con la TIERRA apoyando su sanación.La oportunidad de convivir , colaborar y co-crear con grupos de mujeres y artesano. Ser el enlaze entre una cosmovisión indigena y urbana.
QUE OFRECES ?
Una residencia con PROYECTO TELAR o TALLER SHAWE es una oportunidad para un intercambio de conocimientos y experiencias. Hemos introducido algunas de las posibles experiencias que ofrecemos aquí en El TALLER SHAWE , ¿Que crees que tu práctica personal , tu propuesta y tu ser puedan ofrecer a una comunidad en general y a un nivel más profundo ? Favor de considerar esta cuestión al llenar nuestro cuestionario así como en la redacción de tu propuesta.
MATERIALES
Los artistas deben venir preparados con sus propios materiales para crear y trabajar. Sin embargo, debe tenerse en cuenta que la regiónes donde trabajamos ay una gran cantidad de hermosos materiales naturales.
Te invitamos como artista a trabajar de manera sustentable lo más posible durante tu estancia, ser consciente de tu trabajo, ya sea con los materiales naturales disponibles, o el reciclado de materiales post-consumo.
Algunos ejemplos de los materiales naturales disponibles pueden ser :
- Tierra (Adobe) - un hermoso material para trabajar con escultura, estructura, cromática y textura. Los residentes en San Sebastián pueden introducir este material a aquellos que no han construido con adobe, pero las posibilidades son casi infinitas.
- Materia prima natural de lana (disponible en una variedad de colores naturales), hilos de lana hilada a mano.
-Bio-masa o natura muerta ( las ramitas, ramas y troncos del bosque alrededor) la madera cortada de los bosques de los alrededores.
-Plantas y hierbas, para el trabajo de la fibra y pigmentos naturales. ( Los baños de teñido están listos para ser utilizados en nuestro espacio de estudio)
- Carrizo, una planta que puede ser utilizada en bio-construcción y armaduras para escultura. La planta crece a un ritmo acelerado y sus usos constructivos se pueden aplicar de una manera muy similar a los de la familia de bambú.
-En marcha colección de materiales de post-consumo de San Sebastián: plásticos, productos de papel y envases, restos de metal, que se encuentran ropa y telas y otros objetos.
FACILIDADES
En proyectoTELAR Y TALLER SHAWE vivimos y trabajamos en comunidad, como unidad, como una sola familia creativa. El espacio de estudio y dormitorios son compartidos por igual entre todos los artistas en residencia.
TIEMPO DE ESTANCIA
Un mes es el tiempo minimo recomendado para un profundo impacto en tu proceso individual, tu colaboración y tu aportación en la comunidad. Cooperación $ 1.000 pesos o un intercambio equivalente de bienes.

Como entendemos que en algunos casos organizarse para un mes se puede complicar, abrimos una opción especial de proponer un projecto con una duración de 2 semanas. Cooperación $500 o intercambio equivalente de bienes.
Te invitamos a que recaudes los fondos para la cooperación de tu estancia compartiendo tu nuevo proyecto con tu comunidad actual e invitarlos a participar y apoyar con donación económica o de bienes.
Al final de tu estancia deberas curar una exibición para el pueblo mostrando tu proyecto realizado.
Los pasos para obtener una residencia son :

EXCHANGE
WHAT DO YOU OFFER ?
A residency with PROJECT TELAR or TALLER SHAWE is an opportunity for an exchange of knowledge and experience. We have introduced some of the possible experiences that we have experienced.
What do you feel that your personal practice, proposal and being offers to the community of PROJECT TELAR and the community where you want to participate.
Please consider this question when filling out our Questionare as well as in the writing of your proposal.
MATERIALS
Artists should come prepared with their own materials to create work with. However, it should be noted the region holds an abundance of beautiful earthly materials.
We encourage artist to work as sustainably as possible while in the community working consciously with either the available natural materials, or recycling post consumer materials.
Some Examples of Natural Materials possibly available are:
- Earth (Adobe)- a beautiful material to work with sculpturally, structurally, chromatically, texturally. Residents here in San Sebastián can introduce those who have not constructed with adobe, but the possibilities are nearly infinite.
- Raw Natural Wool (available in a variety of natural colors), hand spun natural wool yarn
-falling twigs, sticks and trunks from the surrounding forest, lumber cut from the wood from the surrounding forests
-various plants for work in fiber construction and natural dying. (dye baths are ready to be used in our studio space)
- Carrizo- a plant which can be used in bio-construction and making of earth friendly armatures for sculpture. The plant grows at a relatively fast rate, and its constructive uses can be applied in a very similar way to those of the bamboo family.
-On-going collection of post-consumer recycled materials from San Sebastian : plastics, paper products and containers, metal scraps, found clothes and cloth and other objects
-A small variety of art materials are located at various paper supply stores in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca (around a 45min journey from San Sebastián).
FACILITIES
In Projectn TELAR and TALLER SHAWE we live and work together as a community, a unit, a creative family. Studio space and sleeping quarters are shared equally by artists in residence. The structures that house the residents are upwards of 100 years old and hand built of adobe. Currently these buildings are under a process of renovation and conservation. Detailed reports of the type and size of space we can provide excepted applicants shall be given on a case to case basis.
TIME OF STAY
One month is the minimum recommended time for a profound impact on your individual process, your collaboration and your exchange within the community.

Because we understand that in some cases it can be difficult to organize a stay for one month , we opened an special option of a two- week proposal.

At the end of your stay you must curate a gallery show to share with all the town.
We invite you to fund your cooperation for your stay , sharing it with your recent community and invite them to participate by making a economical donation or of goods.
